The Virginia Beach Pandemic Relief Partnership
The Virginia Beach Pandemic Relief Partnership is a collaboration of United Way of South Hampton Roads, the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore, the Hampton Roads Workforce Council and LISC Hampton Roads funded by the City of Virginia Beach. United Way is serving as the backbone for the partnership, leading the centralized intake, comprehensive care coordination, marketing and reporting. We are also coordinating the individual and family financial assistance portion of the program and administering the nonprofit grants.
The online application for assistance is now closed. We are continuing to process already submitted applications and distribute financial assistance as available.
Rounds I and II of the VBrelief Nonprofit Grant program are also closed. Over 200 nonprofit organizations impacted by COVID-19 received a total of $6 million in funding to support their operations and programming.
