United Way’s Financial Stability Partnership is a new initiative aimed at helping individuals and families attain and preserve assets, become more financially stable, and achieve long-term economic independence.

Locally, the United Way of South Hampton Roads is participating in this initative to support our community goal to maintain a safety net for people in crisis and work to end homelessness for all.

Local Involvement

In 2009 United Way of South Hampton Roads partnered with Signature Financial Management to strengthen our local efforts and procure financial stability for low-income South Hampton Roads residents. We work with 57 programs offered by 24 certified agencies.
