Join us for our 19th annual United Way of South Hampton Roads Day of Caring on Friday, September 10th, 2010.
Day of Caring provides a way for businesses and organizations to build camaraderie and goodwill among employees while helping the community. Typically, a team of volunters from your company or organization will spend the day out of the office to fulfill a current need for a local nonprofit agency.
This is a great way for a team of 2 to 100 to come together and see how teamwork can make a difference, while providing invaluable help that might otherwise not get done.
Projects include everything from landscaping to mentoring children.
Host a Day of Caring Project.
Every year the demand for fun, engaging projects for volunteer participation grows and grows. We don't want to turn anyone away. So, make sure we put to good use our skilled and enthusiastic volunteers. Start planning your Day of Caring project today! Please register by July 16th, 2010.
