is fueled by volunteer support.

Through partnership with VOLUNTEER Hampton Roads and our network of Community Partner Agencies, United Way of South Hampton Roads mobilizes volunteer support in our community.


Thousands South Hampton Roads locals participate in hundreds of volunteer projects on United Way of South Hampton Roads Day of Caring, the regions' largest volunteer event.

United Way of South Hampton Roads also recruits and organizes volunteers for Project Homeless Connect events in our region.

Our Leadership Giving Societies offer members additional opportunities to volunteer in leadership roles and signature projects.
