United Way of South Hampton Roads is an organization that
is fueled by volunteer support.

www.ServeSHR.org is the best way to find out what's available and who needs the help! It works as a skills based matching services that connects your time and talents with our community partners that can use it.

Volunteers must register and complete a profile on ServeSHR and can view all open opportunities across our community.

Thousands South Hampton Roads locals participate in hundreds of volunteer projects on United Way of South Hampton Roads Day of Caring, the regions' largest volunteer event.

United Way of South Hampton Roads also recruits and organizes volunteers for Project Homeless Connect events in our region.

Our Leadership Giving Societies offer members additional opportunities to volunteer in leadership roles and signature projects.
